General meeting at 11:00am -2pm
Seated Lunch (salad, main course, dessert) will be served $19.00 per person.

Main course: Chicken Breast stuffed with creamy spinach and cheese, oven roast potatoes and crunchy green beans topped with almonds.
Dessert choice of Key Lime Pie or Peach Cobbler

Featured Speaker - Mack Vann, Storyteller

Honoring family, child, spirit, Creator and creation, exploring relationships and celebrating discovery, author and storyteller Mack Vann's Creek Bottom Home, illustrated by eleven north Alabama artists, is creative non-fiction, eighty-two stories in all, remembering people and places of north Alabama. Returning with Mack to his creek bottom home, readers will find themselves in places that remind them of their own.

Native of New Hope, Alabama, prior to joining New York Life in 1964, Mack served in the Army, truck farmed on his father's cotton farm in Limestone County and taught English at Huntsville's Joe Bradley Junior High.

Mack will speak to our group telling 3 or 4 of his favorite stories. You are certain to enjoy and perhaps even relive a bit of YOUR past. His stories touch all of us remembering when we were much younger and those days gone by, and the feelings which linger forever. From I-565, take the North Memorial Parkway (Highway 231) exit. Go over University and take the Oakwood Avenue Exit. Go under bridge and head WEST. You will pass a 2nd traffic light at Pulaski Pike. Now look to turn into driveway on your left (off Oakwood) into the club property. Drive to main building (past the pool) and park in parking lot.
