Meeting will start at 11:00 sharp. Please arrive between 10:30 and 10:45 to sign up for lunch, get a name tag and be ready for the meeting which will start on time.

Other topics will be 1. Loss of Income Coverage, 2. Wrongful Sale Coverage, 3. Wind Coverage, and 4. Deductibles by Buildings vs. Entire Property. Lytis A. Davis, CIC is the owner and will be there to answer questions also.

Douglas W. Fink, a lawyer with the firm of Hand Arendall, LLC who attended our Expo, will be speaking on "legal issues that the Alabama storage industry faces" followed by Q&A time. He will talk about the Alabama Self Storage Act, what needs to be covered in your Rent Agreements and some specific cases of default (like death of a tenant) that you may encounter. Our treasurer, Stuart LaGroue attended the Chicago SSA ( March 29-April 1 ) meeting on behalf of our association and met with other representatives of state associations. He will give us a short report on the business discussed there.
